What a good feeling; I'm changing the world

Vienna 2002

I was born in Bosnia and Hercegovina in 1956. I finished Academy for Fine Arts in Sarajevo and then I specialized in graphic art at the Academy of F.A. in Ljubljana. Now I live in Ljubljana, Slovenija as a freelance artist.

Currently I find inspiration in the two thousand-year tradition of Christianity and its iconography, which can be the subject of ideological manipulation. The world of advertisements dictate to the passive consumer the image and values by promising a heaven. I used Christian iconography as a pattern of this and put it together with simply drawings and words. I've got obvious conflict. By means of contemporary technology I transform it into a graphic work. My life is connected with the electronic media much more than with the nature. Nature is a luxury.
