Anne Marie Power is a mixed media artist and educator. She has exhibited and presented workshops in Australia, England, Italy, Russia, Canada, Japan and Oman, and traveled and researched extensively throughout Europe, Asia and America. Her installation art incorporates print, paper, fabrics, objects, light and sound and it often modeled on historic forms. Here the reference is to the Bolza family heraldic coat of arms.

Joe Bolza studied mime in Paris with Marcel Marceau and Etienne Decroux, leading to a career as a professional mime, theatre director and drama lecturer.

The Bolza family had been prominent citizens around Vienna in banking, military and government for nearly two centuries. Peter Bolza was granted the title of Count in recognition for his services. The coat of arms was then redesigned and included images of his home in Karnabrun, north of Vienna, as well as traditional family images - the double headed eagle of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and the purse symbolising banking.

Power and Bolza see the coat of arms as a teller of stories, a record of a family's journey over time and through significant events, including the family immigration to Australia. The digital redesign of this coat of arms matches contemporary Australian images with historic Austrian images.
