All day long
What happens if you wander into a country, into a launderette and you don't belong, but you do?
You come from a country where they wear feathers in their hats with the brim tipped forward and the back brim (dipped) up. Your shoes are woven sandals in the old style and you have vague memories of the homeland.
The homeland is feeling awfully distant, was there snow on the mountain tops? Do I remember (wild) flowers growing on the mountain side.

Staring into space

Girl sweeping by
with the pure pink tank top
cardigan flowing like a cloak behind her
Hair streaming like a goddess.
And my god the bounce.
Where did she get a bounce like that?
- Can I have a bounce like that?
