Peter
Hristov, born 1970 in Kazanlak, Bulgaria. Studied at the Academy of Fine
Arts Sofia. Lives and works in Vienna since 1989. Trained as an expert in classical drawing, Peter Hristov has developed his artwork towards the blending of traditional art techniques with modern technology eg. computer and media practice. His work shows the skills of an aesthetically trained artist in a fluctuant yet interrogative media environment. Both, smashingly attractive and critically involved, his work is not only relevant in the discourse of the arts, but in the enlarged field of contemporary creative environment. |
