This is your first exchange student checking in! Thought you might be interested to see what you started in 1964. I am leaving Melbourne on Sunday for four months working in the USA and on my way will visit my younger daughter, Lauren Jarrott, currently a Rotary exchange student in Argentina (Rotary Club of Turdera, Buenos Aires) She is being sponsored by the Rotary Club of Forest Hill.
Four years ago my eldest daughter, Alanna Jarrott, went on exchange courtesy of Doncaster Rotary Club to Belgium (Rotary Club of Vise). Alanna is planning a trip back to Belgium later this year and hopes to visit Lauren while she is still in Argentina (along with several South American students she met during her time in Belgium).
Hopefully on my trip I might get back to Wewoka, Oklahoma - I have been back there twice in the 35 years since my exchange.
As you can see our family have a lot to thank the Sale Rotary Club for - especially their willingness to give Student Exchange a go. Keep up the good work - we students, old and new, truly appreciate it.
