Richard specialises in small things, particularly inlaid boxes of Australian timbers. he is presently working on a series called "Future Cities" one of which won the Award for an exquisite small piece at the recent Victorian Woodworkers Associations Heartwood Exhibition.

He also makes bowls, pens and other domestic things.
