Further details available in the Calendar of Events.
Fact Sheet
Images Of Our Elders exhibition was established in 1994 as a community
education initiative by the Hammond Care Group. The Hammond Care Group is a
registered charity which specialises in aged care services and also has a
commitment to the broader issues of successful and positive ageing.
The Images Of Our Elders exhibition has become one of the most popular
Seniors Week events with over 17,000 people having attended the exhibitions
since 1994. It is also a main event in NSW and Commonwealth Government
celebrations for 1999, the International Year of Older Persons.
Each year 20 remarkable Australians are selected from the Australian

flying around the country to shoot photographs and interview participants.
The 20 remarkable Australians profiled are from diverse social and cultural
backgrounds.

Exhibition.
