AC '99 Update - Edition No. 3 (August 1998)
Australian Coalition '99 welcomes the following new partner organisations:
Outward Bound Foundation
Outward Bound has been running physical and personal development programs throughout Australia since 1956. An exciting new program called "Young At Heart" for people aged 50+ years was successfully launched earlier this year and is part of OBA’s commitment to providing opportunities for all Australians. The next "Young At Heart" program will be run in Western Australia from 27 September - 5 October 1998.

Sane Australia
Sane Australia is a national charity that helps people seriously affected by mental illness through applied research, development of resources for consumers, carers and professionals and campaigning for improved services and attitudes.

The National Asthma Campaign
The NAC is the peak body for asthma in Australia. Its functions are to provide the latest information on asthma management to health professionals, conduct national public education campaigns and develop and implement policy on asthma issues in conjunction
with other interested bodies and individuals.

TRANX
Tranquilliser Recovery and New Existence Inc (TRANX) provides a state-wide service with a strong consumer focus, in 3 main areas: treatment, providing resources and education and prevention programs. TRANX also provides counselling treatment for panic and anxiety disorders.
