There were increased comments about physical changes from personal experience, such as loss of body shape, getting wrinkles and greying hair. Alternatively some felt they were getting better with age in looks, energy and insight. There was a sense of this group having already gained increased confidence and perspective on ageing - although they were commenting about the future and what they were predicting would happen. Some comments tended to be observations of how they had experienced ageing around them. Mostly this group felt they had a lot of life ahead of them, with family and friends featuring frequently in their responses.
